Space Replicator

1. Log into or create your account at myLEWITT and click "Add software"

2. Enter the voucher code to activate your license here

3. Download your plugin from myLEWITT

4. Install the plugin and open it in your recording software

5. Make sure to load it on a stereo track. Otherwise, the plugin might not show up

6. Grab the license key from myLEWITT and paste it into the plugin's activation window

7. Log into the plugin with your myLEWITT credentials

1. Select your headphone model from the “Your headphone” drop-down menu.

2. Click on “New binaural profile” to create your binaural profile.

3. After creating the binaural profile, click on the synchronization button 🔄 and select your profile from the drop-down menu “Binaural profile”.

4. Immerse yourself in different spaces.

Short answer: no.

When you create your binaural profile, the result is tailored to your hearing.

It doesn't matter which headphones you want to use afterwards, as long as you select the model you are currently using from the drop-down menu.

It is better to create a personal profile. Otherwise, use “Default.”

You can easily add a binaural profile for your friend to your account, allowing you to work on sessions together.

Just click on the ‘Create binaural profile’ button and let your friend create a new binaural profile in your myLEWITT account.

After synchronization, it will appear in Space Replicator alongside your other binaural profiles.

Select the profile and headphone model depending on who is currently working with which headphones.

Here you will find all the steps for creating a binaural profile.

If you cannot find your headphones, simply use the “Default” setting. 

In this case, make sure to use high-quality studio headphones with a balanced frequency response.

The “Your headphone” drop-down menu contains headphone compensation profiles that “decolorize” the sound of the selected headphone model.

This is necessary so that Space Replicator can provide you with a lifelike sound experience.

Space Replicator is fantastic for precise monitoring, but it is probably not needed for your exported audio.

Therefore, “Auto-bypass on render” is the default setting.

Space Replicator automatically detects when you start your DAW's export function to render audio. In this case, the plugin is automatically bypassed, allowing your audio to pass through unprocessed.

This feature only works if your DAW correctly reports that it is exporting the audio rather than playing it back when you export. Please check your exported audio to see if your DAW supports this feature before using it for an important project.

However, it's always a good idea to double-check your exported audio.

Entering the license code in Space Replicator links the plugin to your computer – no complicated third-party solution is required.

You can use one license on up to three devices. Devices using the same license cannot operate with the plugin simultaneously.

If you want to remove a license from a device:

1. Open the plugin in your DAW
2. Click on the LEWITT logo in the upper left corner
3. Click on “Deactivate license”

You need an active internet connection to install the plugin.

You do not need to be online at all times while using the plugin.

If you have been working without an internet connection for an extended period, you may need to log in again, which requires an internet connection. You will be notified in advance of this happening.

Space Replicator attempts to contact our servers at regular intervals to:

• Check for updates and new spaces
• Verify your license

The Space Replicator's sound processing can introduce positive gain, depending on the frequency, which may cause clipping at the output.

“Safe headroom” reduces your level in Space Replicator by 12 dB to ensure that no clipping occurs at the output (if the input signal is not already clipping).

You can install Space Replicator on up to 3 computers, as long as you only use one of them at a time.

This allows you to have Space Replicator on your studio computer and take your laptop with you for mobile work—all with one license.

To deactivate a license from a device:

1. Open the plugin in your DAW
2. Click on the LEWITT logo in the upper left corner
3. Click on “Deactivate license”

You can only add Space Replicator to a stereo track.

The plugin may not be visible or selectable if you try to load it onto a mono track.

Please check that 1) your internet connection is working and 2) your firewall is not blocking Space Replicator.

If both are correct, click the “Sync” button in the upper right corner.

The spaces and headphone simulations should appear after a few seconds.
