MTP W950

The MTP W950 unleashes studio sound on stage. Wired and wireless. It consists of the W9, an interchangeable microphone head, and the MTP 50 microphone handle with XLR output.

Use the W9 microphone head in two ways
1. Wired: Screw the W9 microphone head onto the MTP 50 handle to get an XLR condenser stage microphone. It requires 48V phantom power to work.
2. Wireless: The thread and electronics of the W9 are compatible with various wireless transmitters. Simply screw it onto a compatible system and enjoy studio sound on stage. 

To adjust the settings of W9, unscrew the top part of the head cup to get access.

PAD: 0dB I -12dB
For very loud vocals, it is recommended to use the 12 dB pre-attenuation setting. It can also help to avoid clipping if you are running a sensitive handheld or preamp.

            
Low Cut: Off I 120 Hz
Engage the integrated low-cut filter to reduce structure-borne noise, handling noise, wind noise, or when you want to remove unneeded low-end.

Polar Pattern: Cardioid I Supercardioid
The cardioid pattern offers excellent rear
rejection. The supercardioid is more directive, has better side rejection but a bit less rear rejection.

Wireless systems fully compatible with LEWITT W9

These systems don't need an adapter, and you can mount the W9 capsule directly onto the following wireless transmitters: 

• all Shure handheld wireless microphone transmitters except BLX and GLX-D Series
• all Lectrosonics handheld wireless microphone transmitters
• all Sony handheld wireless microphone transmitters
• Line6: XD-V75 and XD-V55
• Mipro ACT series with interchangeable heads
   

Wireless systems that need an adapter for LEWITT W9

• all Sennheiser handheld wireless microphone transmitters with interchangeable microphone heads - compatible via Adapter Ambient HHA

• To ensure the best sound quality, do not cover any part of the grille.

• Avoid excessive force on switches and connected cables.

• Do not attempt to modify or fix the microphone, as it would void your product warranty.

• The microphone's casing can be cleaned easily using a wet cloth.

• The integrated acoustic pop and windshield can be washed with soap water, if necessary.

• When the microphone head is unmounted, ensure it is stored safely in the transport box.

• Do not touch the connectors on the bottom of the microphone head.
