FAQ - Music challenge feat. Spitting Ibex

The first rule of music challenge: there are no rules. Well kind of.

There are no limits to your creativity. You can either do a mix, or a remix. A remix can be anything. You want to sing your own version? Go for it. You want to replace the keys with screaming metal guitars? Give it a try. You want to make a drum and bass version? Do it. We want you to have fun and be creative!

How long does the challenge run?

You can submit your tracks until the 16th of June 2021. The voting will then be open for another week until the 23rd of June 2021. Then we will take another week to pick the winners and we'll announce them on the 30th of June 2021 on our website and the LEWITT social media channels.

How can I download the tracks?

Getting the free multitrack is easy. You just have to sign up for myLEWITT and then you can download the tracks within minutes.

Can I upload a mix and a remix?

Yes. To double your chances to win, you can upload a mix and a remix. But please know that we will not award the win to a mix in the remix category. So you have to be a little more creative than that.

How can I submit my versions?

First, you need to upload your track to YouTube or Soundcloud. Then login to myLEWITT, click on "my Submission" and there you can easily put in your YouTube or Soundcloud link. Just specify if your submission is a mix or a remix. Hit "submit" and that's it.

How are the winners chosen?

The audio community votes for the top 20 submissions of each category (mixes and remixes) by liking the submissions on myLEWITT (You don't need an account to leave likes). A LEWITT team of seasoned audio engineers listens to the top 20 submissions and picks 3 winners for each category (mixes and remixes).

How will I know if I have won?

We will announce them on the 30th of June 2021 on our website and the LEWITT social media channels. We will also contact the winners personally.
